Mike Bhana – The Price of Fish

I have a good korero with another fellow Tairua local, Mike Bhana. Mike is a fellow Tairua local. He has just released an eye opening documentary on the state of the NZ fishery called The Price of Fish. Mike is a natural history filmmaker who has travelled the world documenting our ties with the ocean, and opening the eyes to the plight of our ocean and many species in it such as Mako sharks. He is the man behind the camera and production of popular TV show Fish of the Day w Clarke Gayford. In this podcast we talk about QMS, the NZ fishery, the importance of preserving our fishery for the state of wellbeing in our country, the power of storytelling, and whats it has been like for Mike following his passion of filming the inky big blue. Enjoy!
