Rob Fort - Kayak Fishing and Marine Art

I first met Rob while we both wrote for the magazine Fishing Coast to Coast back in 2008. Since then we’ve stayed in touch, and Rob is another guy who, when we talk, we tend to yarn for ages about all things to do with the ocean, fishing and cooking. We both share a love for our home on the Coromandel. So it made sense to talk to him in this podcast series. Rob draws his inspiration from the ocean and tries to share this in every one of his business interests - and there are many - he is NZ’s foremost kayak fishing writer, runs a retail shopping kitting people out with kayak fishing gear, runs kayak fishing adventures and events, paints epic artwork inspired by the ocean, has a kayak fishing video series, among many others!
