Recipe ; Bluefin Tuna Dumplings

THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO USE FISH SPOONED OFF THE FRAME AND OTHER OFFCUTS

Bluefin tuna has so much good fat in it, the meat close to the skin is like nothing else. Dicing it up, your hands get coated in this awesome oil like olive oil. After doing my usual sesame oil sashimi the other night, I got this taste explosion, like…boom….dumplings!

So, the dumpling mix:

-A small plate size square of bluefin, the good orange part close to the skin, diced

-Spring onion from the garden

-Sesame oil

-Mint, parsley, thyme from the garden

-Chopped ginger and garlic

-Some Uncle Dunkles smoky hot sauce

Place on some gluten free dumpling wrappers

The result?

A taste explosion - so good! You will want to make a lot as your whanau and friends won’t stop eating them! Mine didn’t!
