Sept 2007 Report - Macadamia Boys out for some Kingfish!

After a big few months organising the Whitianga scallop festival, managed to get my mates Justin and Hamish from Cathedral Cove Macadamias out for a blast on the kingfish!

We hit the kingfish feeding hard, reasonably high in the water column, and smashing jigs. Fish of the day went to Justy who nailed a 20kg kingfish on 15kg mono - awesome!!
