February Marlin Action - Hokianga

Two more road trips to chase the marlin this month.

The first a short one - spending a few nights up in Whitianga at the inaugural Bonze Marlin Skins. This turned out to be an awesome tournament, and it was cool to get Sam Stringfield his first marlin on his 30th birthday (which happened to be my birthday as well - beers on!!)

For Nationals Tony, Ants, Paul and I shot up to have our first crack at Hokianga. Man this is just an insane place to fish, we marked so many bait balls, raised a lot of fish, and managed to tag a nice full size fish est at 130kg to Ants.
