Winter Goodness

It might be the middle of winter, but we’ve enjoyed the company of plenty of keen anglers, eager to get out and enjoy their freedom again, collecting some fresh winter goodness for the table.

Phil and his mates from Whangamata got into some awesome eating goodness from the deep!

Regular client Tony was out stocking the freezer up with some tasty bluenose

And the flat winter seas have seen the bait schools thick inshore, regular Iain with a very nice string pulling kingfish from shallow water

We’ve definitely been enjoying some good quality kai back at Provider base! One of my highlights baked macadamia crumbed gemfish, with a coconut curry sauce and spinach. Yum!
