June Fishing Report

We wrapped up the season with a cool trip for Che and his mates from the US. Che managed to get the pinfish kingi for Tairua club with a only a couple of days left in the season!

Winter is a great time to chase Puka and we got stuck into a good mixed bag of Hapuku and Kingfish today wide of Castle

“Live every day as if it’s your last.” That’s the motto of these three awesome chaps who came out with me for a half day trip on Provider this morning. An hour in Clinton already had a trifecta of puka, kingi and snapper ticked off. We added JD and more kings for the rest of the boys. Good times with good fellas, all the best boys!!

Little bit deeper today, and our crew from Lithuania pretty ecstatic with the variety of deep water critters, from bass to bluenose, gemfish, ling, perch , spiny dogs and school sharks nothing was wasted! Great to have Ski back on board!
