Darren Shields, Wettie Spearfishing

Darren Shields has been in and under the NZ ocean for the last 50 years, following his passion of spearfishing. He is 6 times NZ spearfishing champ, and founder of NZ's biggest dive business Wettie Spearfishing & Wetsuits. Darren has been underwater cameraman for many of NZ's top fishing shows, guided spearo's all around the world, and been involved in getting thousands of Kiwis into the world of spearfishing. In this podcast, Darren shares some of his secrets of success in business, and tells us how he juggles a busy life, with family and staying well mentally and physically at the same time. We discuss the state of the fishery, what we love about the ocean and what the future holds as well.
