Okuma Testing Day

First thing Monday I called Josef to tell him he’d won a trip out this week helping to test some cool AF Okuma kit.

“Bro have you got a letter I can show my boss?”

Good thing Josef got the day off work….it was simply superb weather and awesome fishing to match.

Josef had never caught a kingi before and it would be fair to say his eyes were blown wide open today and I could tell he was very grateful for the chilly bin of kaimoana including frame and head he took home.

We had an awesome day testing some seriously cool kit, cheers to Richard and Dave who made up the crew and Nick from Okuma for giving us the first glimpse of the Haku and Kotare range. They are some seriously slick rods. Get amongst it team!
