September Kingfish Report

Very cool to see these familiar faces!

Ski and his awesome bunch of mates love getting out on the water. They were stoked to get out of Auckland after their second lockdown, and we had a full bin of big kingis and snapper by 8.44am!

We filled any gaps with pinkies, goldies and more snapper drifting around some random spots the rest of the day. Plenty of good kai to take home to the family , plenty of laughs, and plenty of smiles. What life is all about! Golden! Cheers boys!

A very similar day was had with Aaron Gascgoine, his Dad and three bros. All five Gascgoine boys well and truly had their kingi fix, and plenty of good tucker to take home, and we were back filleting fish on the hill by 1pm! Once again, all the action was on jigs, and we’ve stuck to lure fishing and jigging for kingfish, without having to resort to catching livies. This means making the most of the awesome early bite at this time of year.
