November Coromandel Kingfish Charter Report

The awesome spring fishing continues, we’ve been doing charters out of both Whitianga and Tairua and getting into some awesome action!

Fuzz and the boys from WeFish NZ jumped on Provider for an awesome day with the kingfish biting thick and fast. Fuzz showed the boys how it was done with the biggest fish on jig and got the light tackle and softbaits out at the end of the day showing how it is done on light tackle…

Good mate Paul who used to run the Blue Water Motel in Tairua brought his Uncle Dave out with him. We had superb conditions and some nice kingfish hitting jigs and lives. Kiwis Kevin, Cam and Paul all got into em and Dave all the way from the UK got his first few kingis and had his “best day gamefishing ever!”

Tim and his bro from the UK got out with us for the day and we sent them home with some primo smoked kingfish!

Charlie got a good introduction to NZ fishing…..first drop boom!

You’ve got to love awesome days like this out on the briny 😎 sun was shining, sounds were pumping, fish were chewing, and a good bunch of boys, Grant and his mates from Hamilton who shared plenty of laughs. Plenty of fish released and a few off to the smoker. Chur!
