Early Summer Goodness - Crayfish, Scallops and Big Kingfish!
One of the great things about being a fishing and diving guide, is no part of the year is ever the same. You learn to tailor what you are doing to the season. And one of the things I love about Late November and early December is the abundance of crayfish along the coastline, the scallops being big and fat, and terakihi coming in close and shallow. Of course there is still plenty of big fat kingfish smashing jigs to put the icing on the cake. Enjoy some of these pics, which I think sum up just how good it is on the Coromandel at the moment!
We’ve been having some epic feeds - whole brochili over a smoky open fire, terakihi stuffed with crayfish, scallops with parmesan and garlic butter in their shell, lobster thermidor over the Weber, stop itttttt!!!!
